Margery Ranch
Margery Ranch has been a resident of San Carlos for 32 years. Currently she serves on the board of directors for the Crestview Park Homeowner's Association.
Previously, she served on the City of San Carlos Economic Development Advisory Commission, was appointed by the City Council to serve on the East Side Zoning and Land Use Committee, is past president of the Friends of the Library, former executive director for the San Carlos Chamber of Commerce, chaired the West Side Zoning and Land Use Committee, is a past trustee and president of the San Carlos School Board, past chairperson of Hometown Days, and served on the Chicken's Ball Steering Committee.
She was a member of the Nancy Reagan National Speaker's Bureau, the board of directors of the National Federation of Parents for Drug Free Youth, co-founder of Californians for Drug Free Youth (and its Red Banner Program), recipient of the National Parent Resource Institute for Drug Education Volunteer of the Year Award and was appointed by Governor Deukmajiian to serve on the Drug Suppression in the Schools Commission.
She graduated from Washington State University with a degree in education. She has three married sons, four granddaughters and one grandson. Her hobbies include travel, antiquarian book collecting, reading and playing bridge.
