Project Details
PAMF’s San Carlos Center, at 301 Industrial Road in San Carlos, will be a state-of–the-art, full service medical center. The integrated campus, including an outpatient medical center and a hospital, will be constructed in two phases. Construction of the acute inpatient care center (hospital) has not yet been scheduled. When both phases are complete, this campus will fully integrate ambulatory care, acute care and common space in order to provide a new level of patient-focused care.
The first phase is the construction of an outpatient medical center and parking garage. This medical center will house 75 physicians (with future capacity to house 120 physicians) and provide a range of primary and specialty care services, an Urgent Care Center, an outpatient surgery center, and complete laboratory and diagnostic imaging departments.

Timeline
In October 2007, the San Carlos City Council voted unanimously to approve the PAMF San Carlos Center. We sincerely thank those of you who attended these city meetings, wrote letters and e-mails of support to the Council and Commission, and signed petitions in favor of the project. We look forward to breaking ground on the outpatient medical center this year and opening its doors in 2014. Once the site is ready, a construction timeline will be shared on this website. Updates, changes and images will be posted as they become available.

A Full Range of Health Care Services
The PAMF San Carlos Center will offer a full range of medical services including:
- 75 primary and specialty physicians with the future capacity to grow to 120
- Urgent Care Center open 365 days a year, from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- On-site laboratory, diagnostic imaging and other testing services
- Outpatient surgery
