The PAMF San Carlos Center will offer primary and specialty physician services; an urgent care center, laboratory, X-ray and other testing services; a center of excellence in cardiovascular care, as well as a full-service acute care hospital with a 24-hour, seven-days-a-week emergency room – all in one location and open to the entire community. The project will contain four major components: physician offices, an ambulatory care center, an inpatient hospital, and ancillary hospital support functions.

The medical center will also be a gateway to the City of San Carlos and provide the most modern, comprehensive health care available. This campus will provide a new level of patient-focused health care that seamlessly integrates inpatient and outpatient health care, reducing travel, wait times and stress for patients. Combining primary and specialty care physicians with advanced diagnostics, pharmacy, urgent care, emergency and inpatient care will provide “one-stop shopping” on a unique health care campus.

This campus will also meet the changing health care needs of today and the future and be flexible to advances in diagnostic, treatment and information technology. At the same time, it will promote a healing environment for patients, visitors and staff members.
