Testing Schedule

President's Day Holiday Testing Schedule

Please note that our lab will be closed on Monday, 2/15/10 in observance of the President’s Day holiday.

Serology tests: IgG (Dye test), IgM ELISA, IgM ISAGA, IgA ELISA, IgE ELISA, AC/HS, Avidity

Specimens received by noon (PST) on Tuesday and Wenesday, will be tested that day. Verbal results will be available by 3 p.m. (PST) the following day.

Specimens received by noon (PST on Thursday will be tested for IgG (Dye test), IgM ELISA, and Avidity only that day. Verbal results will be available by 3 p.m. (PST) the following day.

PCR

Specimens received by noon (PST) on Friday, February 12 will have verbal results available Tuesday, February 16 by 4 p.m. (PST). Specimens received by noon (PST) on Wednesday, February 17 will have verbal results available the following day by 4 p.m. (PST).

Continuing Education Testing Schedule

Please note that our lab will be closed on Thursday, 3/4/10 for continuing education of laboratory and staff members.

Serology tests: IgG (Dye test), IgM ELISA, IgM ISAGA, IgA ELISA, IgE ELISA, AC/HS, Avidity

Specimens received by noon (PST) on Monday and Tuesday, will be tested that day. Verbal results will be available by 3 p.m. (PST) the following day.

Specimens received by noon (PST on Wednesday will be tested for IgM ISAGA, and AC/HS only that day. Verbal results will be available by 3 p.m. (PST) Friday, 3/5/10.

PCR

Specimens received by noon (PST) on Monday, 3/1/10 will have verbal results available Tuesday, March 2 by 4 p.m. (PST). Specimens received by noon (PST) on Wednesday, March 3 will have verbal results available Friday by 4 p.m. (PST).

Regular Schedule:

Serology tests: IgG (Dye test), IgM ELISA, IgM ISAGA, IgA ELISA, IgE ELISA, AC/HS, Avidity

Specimens received by noon (PST) on Monday and Wednesday will be tested that day. Verbal results are available by 3 p.m. (PST) the following day.

Specimens received by noon (PST) on Thursday will be tested for IgG (Dye Test), IgM ELISA, and Avidity only that day. Verbal results are available by 3 p.m. (PST) the following day.

PCR

Specimens received by noon (PST) on Tuesday will have verbal results available Wednesday by 4 p.m. (PST).

Specimens received by noon (PST) on Friday will have verbal results available Monday by 4 p.m. (PST).

Isolation

Specimens are inoculated into the peritoneal cavity of mice. Final results are available approximately six weeks from the date received.

Note: To ensure the quality of test results, repeat testing is sometimes required. This may delay reporting of results.

We are closed Saturday and Sunday. To ensure specimen integrity, we recommend specimens are not shipped on weekends.
