About PAMF Sports Medicine and Pro Sports Teams
The Palo Alto Medical Foundation's nationally recognized Sports Medicine Department treats athletes of all levels, from professional to recreational. Our department includes full-time board-certified orthopedic surgeons, as well as a children’s sports medicine specialist and sports podiatrist.
We serve as team doctors for many Bay Area sports teams, including the San Jose Sharks and Oakland Raiders. We also serve as consultants for the San Francisco Giants. Several Stanford University athletic teams and many local high schools and colleges receive care from PAMF Sports Medicine experts, as do thousands of recreational athletes throughout the area.
The Palo Alto Medical Foundation's Sports Medicine Department is located in the Clark Building at the Palo Alto Center, a state-of-the-art facility that features advanced diagnostic and treatment technology. Our specialists also offer sports medicine diagnosis and treatment at PAMF's clinics in Los Altos and Redwood Shores.
Doctors in our Sports Medicine Department work closely with local athletic trainers and physical therapists to make sure you receive high-quality care and rehabilitation after initial treatment.
Our goal is to provide the highest quality care to athletes of all levels, and get you back in the game as soon as possible.
