Colin Eakin, M.D.

Dr. Colin Eakin received his M.D. in 1991 from the University of California at San Francisco, where he also conducted his internship and residency. Dr. Eakin's fellowship in sports medicine took place at the Steadman-Hawkins Clinic in Vail, Colo. His professional interests and specialties include arthroscopic knee and shoulder reconstruction and sports-related injuries. He is board certified in orthopedic surgery.

Dr. Eakin is team doctor for the San Jose Earthquakes MLS team. He has also cared for several professional and collegiate teams, including the San Francisco Giants and the Stanford University men's basketball team.

Dr. Eakin enjoys windsurfing, basketball, tennis, skiing and golf.
