Assessing Your Relationship for Teens
Every relationship is different, but there are certain qualities that are necessary no matter what. It is important that you learn how to assess your feelings about a relationship:
- What sorts of trust are necessary in a relationship?
- What support you should look for in a relationship.
- How can you support your partner?
- What sort of healthy limits can actually improve your relationship?
Sometimes your feelings about a relationship are not completely clear. You might really like your partner when you talk about him or her to your friends, but feel uncomfortable when you're actually with that person. Breaking down your feelings into different categories can help you sort them out and determine if this relationship is healthy and important to you.
