Rituximab
Why It Is Used
Rituximab may be used alone or in combination with other chemotherapy medicines to treat Reference non-Hodgkin's lymphoma Opens New Window (NHL) and Reference chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) Opens New Window. Rituximab is used with ibritumomab as part of targeted radiation therapy.
Rituximab is also used to treat Reference autoimmune diseases Opens New Window such as Reference rheumatoid arthritis Opens New Window. It is often used in combination with other medicines such as methotrexate.
