What is Ergonomics?
Ergonomics is the study of how you work, where you work and what you use to do your work. An ergonomic work space is arranged so you are comfortable and not placing unnecessary strain on any part of your body. Ergonomics is important for all areas of life, because when a space is set up ergonomically, there is less chance of injury or illness. When you take small steps to make sure that your laptop is being used ergonomically, you prevent neuromuscular injury and increase your productivity.
Proper laptop ergonomics depends on where you are using your laptop (for example, on a plane, at a desk or in bed), the time of day and the task you are working on.
