The Hangover
On the morning of his wedding, Doug Billings (Justin Barta) is nowhere to be found. His two best friends and brother-in-law wake up in a disheveled hotel room, consisting of a stray chicken and a bubble-filled fountain, in Las Vegas. No one remembers the night before, which was supposed to be a bachelor party for their friend Doug, and the only clues they have are the baby crying in the closet and the hospital band around Phil Wenneck’s (Bradley Cooper) wrist. Phil, Stu Price (Ed Helms), and Alan Garner (Zack Galifianakis) follow the trail of clues of this memorable, yet forgotten, night that could lead them to the Doug’s whereabouts. Their adventures during take them from a blackjack table to a deal with gangsters in the middle of a desert to a stripper’s house, and everywhere in between.
The Hangover is rated R for nudity, language, and drug material. It’s an entertaining, immature comedy with an unpredictable and ludicrous plot. It’s a fun watch with friends, if you’re looking for a movie that’s sole selling point is teenage humor.
