She has experience as a midwife, childbirth educator and perinatal and nursery nurse, Since completing her nurse midwifery education at San Jose State University in 1996, she has enjoyed offering full scope midwifery services, including pregnancy and birth care, contraceptive options, and menopausal care. In 2007, Timmi completed her master''s degree in nursing at Samuel Merritt College in Oakland. She is the proud mother of two children who were born at home with the help of midwives.
