Interventional Radiologists
Interventional Radiology (abbreviated IR or sometimes VIR for vascular and interventional radiology) is a subspecialty of radiology which performs procedures using image guidance. Some of these procedures are used for diagnosis, such as an angiogram, while other procedures are used to treat cardiovascular disease, like angioplasty.
In teh Vascular Center, our radiologists specialize in venous care. They provide support to our Vascular Lab and also perform a multitude of venous procedures including vein ablation and cosmetic vein procedures.
