    Vascular and Endovascular Surgeons

Hypertension, high cholesterol, diabetes, and a sedentary lifestyle can damage veins and arteries. Blood vessel problems can lead to stroke or a heart attack. Vascular and endovascular surgeons specialize in surgically repairing diseased blood vessels.

Surgeons have done vascular surgery to repair blood vessels for years. New alternatives to traditional surgery -- endovascular surgery – provide the same benefits and are less invasive. Other new therapies include intravascular balloons, stents, wires and coils can be used to treat a variety of vascular conditions, including:

    • Aortic aneurysm repair
    • Carotid endarterectomy
    • Leg bypasses, which can be used to treat:
      • Aneurysm (dilation of the artery)
      • Stenosis (narrowing of the artery)
Endovascular surgery results in less pain, quicker recovery and less strain on the heart.

PAMF vascular and endovascular surgeons include:
