Adjustable Gastric Band Placement

In this operation, a small band is placed around the upper part of the stomach, creating a pouch. The small size of the pouch means you feel full sooner. Laparoscopic banding is adjustable and reversible. The band size can be adjusted by inflating or deflating it.
